Anthony’s BMW M135i

BMW Cars

Why did I buy a BMW M135i? Simply because I wanted the only hatchback with a 3.0 and 6 cylinders out there at the moment! A nice step up in performance frommyold TT too!

She does everything I ask of her, at a very nice pace.

From my many trips to Santapod to road trips around Wales. It just keeps delivering time after time!

I’ve even done 3000miles on my trip to Portugal in 38c temperatures this last year and she didn’t skip a beat!

I love getting to Santapod when can for a RWYB. However the Dial in day is also a fond favourite of mine.

The Dial in day adds competitiveness to the day as well as prizes.

You also get proper lessons in the classroom to help you put that on to the track.

Both times I’ve entered I’ve managed to reach the semi finals. Both times I lost to the same Tesla though!

Best of all though, you’re not questing for hours for track time! Being that there are limited numbers permitted entry!

My best time so far in my BMW M135i is 12.7 @ 110mph , with an average being around 12.9.

Best win? I think the Lotus exige or the 5.0 Mustang I beat are definitely up there for that!

I’ve also comfortably kept with S3s on the twisties, which was great!

Hoping to soon have a sports cat and go for stage 2. The only thing holding me back is my conscience!

It’s quite loud as it is with the Miltek so not sure if the neighbours will appreciate it!
