This helps prevent loss of braking performance under sustained braking. Where a plain surfaced brake pad might start to suffer from a build-up of gas between the pad and disc, these will sweep the pad surface clean as you brake.These discs also feature dba's kangaroo paw vent design. This is designed to quickly and efficiently force feed air into the centre vented section of the disc.dba use CBN tooling to make these ensuring precision manufacturing. This helps to avoid brake judder when these are fitted properly.Please note - a slotted face disc will normally be a bit noisier than plain faced discs.
