These vehicle specific kits contain all the necessary parts to enable easy installation of an aftermarket oil cooler. Standard kits are supplied with textile braided black rubber hoses swaged onto zinc plated fittings for a leak free seal. Some vehicles kits have options of stainless steel overbraided hoses and / or a thermostatic control. Stainless steel overbraided hoses offer a higher abrasion and heat resistance to standard rubber and the thermostatic control allows the engine oil to heat up quicker from start up.Includes parts to install an aftermarket oil coolerZinc plated fittings for corrosion resistanceVehicle specific fitmentOptions of stainless steel overbraided hose and / or thermostatic controlParts included in the kit - This varies depending on application but kits will generally include the following:Sandwich plate - This fits between the oil filter and engine to provide an oil take off.Oil Pipes - These are a pre made length which allow the cooler to be fitted at the front of the car.Oil Cooler Brackets - Pre-drilled, universal flat steel brackets which can be cur or bent into shape to suit the vehicle.Nuts, Bolts and Adaptors - Necessary fittings to attach the brackets to the cooler and the vehicleKits are designed to fit oil coolers with a 1/2" BSP male thread unless otherwise stated
