Setting each vehicle to public, community, or private, hiding your registration plate specifically, and managing both from one place in Settings.
Every vehicle you add has its own visibility, independent of any other vehicle in your garage: public and visible to anyone including search engines, community only and visible to signed in members but not the open web, or private and visible only to you. You choose this when you add a vehicle, and it's never locked in afterward.
Registration plate visibility is a separate toggle from the vehicle's overall visibility. You can keep a build fully public while still hiding the plate from everyone except you, it's off by default, so you have to actively choose to show it.
Both settings can be changed at any time from that vehicle's Edit page, they're not a one-time choice made only when you first add the car.
Settings > Privacy lists every vehicle you own with live toggles for both visibility and plate visibility in one place, so you can review or change everything without opening each vehicle's edit page individually.
