What the Verified Installer badge actually confirms, how a confirmation request reaches your business, and where a confirmed job shows once you've approved it.
Any owner can claim a garage or tuner fitted a modification, that's just a text field. Verified Installer confirmation is different: it means the business itself, through its own directory profile, confirmed doing that specific job, turning a claim into something checkable rather than self-reported.
When a customer links one of their logged modifications to your business, you get a one-tap confirmation link by email. No login is required to use it, so it works even if you've never logged into your own business dashboard.
The link opens a simple confirm or deny page showing what's being claimed against your business. Confirming it adds a Verified badge to that specific modification and counts toward your profile's confirmed jobs total; denying it does neither.
A confirmed job shows a Verified Job badge on the modification itself, contributes to your business profile's trust signal in the directory, and appears as a VERIFIED marker if that vehicle's owner exports a PDF build sheet, a stronger proof point for anyone reading it than an ordinary review.
