Submitting a business to the Tuner & Garage Directory, what happens after approval, and how a Trade Account unlocks reviews, analytics, and your own parts feed.
Search the directory first to check you're not already listed unclaimed by someone else. If not, submit your business with its name, location, specialisms, and contact details from the directory's submission form. An admin reviews every submission before it goes live, there's no self-publish path.
Your business gets its own public profile: description, photos, specialisms, opening hours, and a location on the directory's search. Customers can leave ratings and reviews directly on your profile, and you can reply publicly to any of them, though you can't remove or pre-approve reviews before they go live.
If your business is already listed but you don't own the profile (an admin-seeded entry, for example), open the profile and use Claim This Business, then verify you're the real owner. Once approved, you get full control: editing the listing, uploading photos, and replying to reviews.
A Trade Account (Standard or Featured tier) adds a self-service dashboard: business details, a reviews inbox, your own Parts feed you manage directly, billing through the same portal as a personal Pro subscription, and analytics on profile views and contact clicks. Featured also ranks your parts and directory placement above Standard and free listings.
When a customer links one of their logged modifications to your business, you get a one-tap email confirmation link, no login required. Confirming it adds a Verified badge to that modification and counts toward your profile's "confirmed jobs" trust signal, a stronger proof point than a review alone.
