Creating an event, taking RSVPs, and what track day events add on top: lap time submissions and a post-event photo gallery.
From Events > Create, set the event type (meet, track day, or show), date, location, and a description. If you own or moderate a car club, you can optionally attach the event to it as an official club event, which shows an "Organised by [Club]" badge and lists it on the club's own page.
Members RSVP directly on the event page, and you can optionally cap attendance with a maximum. A "Who's Going" list shows everyone attending, so other members can see who else will be there before committing.
For a track day specifically, attendees can submit their own lap times against the event once it's happened, building a simple leaderboard for the day. Once the event has passed, anyone who attended can upload photos from the day with an optional caption, building a shared gallery rather than everyone posting separately across their own profiles.
You can set or change the event's cover image at creation or any time afterward from the event's manage page, it's what shows on the Events calendar, the event page itself, and the homepage's upcoming events teaser once the event qualifies for it.
