Starting a community group buy as an individual organiser, or running one through a verified Trade Account for the credibility badge.
From Group Buys > Create, set the part or service, the retailer, pricing tiers if the price drops at higher order counts, and a deadline. Group buys are open to any member to organise, you don't need a Trade Account to start one.
If you own an approved Trade Account, the creation form shows a checkbox to run the group buy as your business (or a dropdown if you own more than one). Doing so shows a Verified Trader badge on the group buy, linking through to your directory profile, a credibility signal for a community used to organiser-run group buys with no formal accountability.
Group buys here are coordination tools: gathering interest, tracking numbers, and linking out to the retailer. The Car Scene doesn't hold or process payment for the goods themselves, that stays a direct arrangement between participants and the retailer or organiser, the same boundary the marketplace holds for private car and part sales.
